I've just bought my 5th car from Nigel & Peter Stewart today 1/7/25. For my budget, I'm only able to buy secondhand cars 6/7 years old, with the hope of getting 7/8 years usage. The last 3 cars I have bought, I have got 25 years usage from. I think this proves that Nigel & Peter are trying to source good quality 2nd hand motor's that give value to their customers. I also get my MOT & car services done at Stewart's. In the 25 years of going through MOT my cars have only failed the test once! It was my own fault also & not a mechanical fault that had been missed. I had broken the drivers seat getting in & out off. My size was the fault! I think this proves that Nigel, Peter & Joe (before his retirement) know their stuff in regards being car mechanics. I have had occasional breakdowns with a broken exhaust, a flat battery & a car that's gearbox jammed in town. Nigel or Peter have called out to my home, found me stuck in a Banbridge carpark to try & help me when I felt in a real pickle. I would easily recommend Nigel & Peter Stewart to anyone. The help I've had with 3 elements of cars:- buying, MOT/servicing & breakdowns, in all cases they have really helped me & more. My whole family do our cars via Stewart's going back from when Nigel's father Davy first started the business in Ballydougan to now Nigel & Peter. We have real respect for the help they give us with cars & are proud to support a local family business close at hand.

Had to report what a fantastic experience it has been dealing with Nigel Stewart Motors. After numerous visits to other companies and a main dealer telling us my wifes car needed a replacement brain or ECU ( 3,500 !! ) Nigel persevered and eventually fixed it for a fraction of the price. Then, when a main dealer couldnt find anything wrong with our daughters car Nigel came to the rescue again. He and Peter must be the best example of a family business that combines old fashioned service standards with modern technology and a dogged determination to solve problems. Cant recommend them highly enough !

I would recommend highly to anyone looking for a good, used car. Peter and Nigel were a pleasure to deal with. Its obvious they take great pride in their family business and reputation, and source their used cars carefully. Upon collection, the car I bought had been serviced to a level beyond my expectations, and was handed over with a full tank of fuel and new custom fit mats. This is what every car buying experience should be like.

Top class from both Peter and Nigel. Highly recommend for anyone after a used car.

A good family run company to deal with, bought a 2008 Skoda Octavia from them in Jan 2019. Without checking it over, sailed through its MOT end of May. I would recommend them
